The song explores the feeling of growing up before you feel ready — caught between childhood and what comes next, while time seems to move faster than expected. Through themes of friendship, nostalgia, and change, “In Between” reflects the fear of letting go of moments that once felt permanent and the desire to hold on a little longer before stepping into the future.
From Lombard Street Stories to Cabin 232 — The Journey So Far
Eliz is a 14-year-old singer-songwriter from San Francisco, California, who’s been playing guitar and piano since she was six. In 2024, she completed her first project, Lombard Street Stories—11 tracks blending pop, R&B, dance, Latin, and indie folk sounds. Now, she’s back with her second album, Cabin 232, written at Interlochen Singer-Songwriter Summer Camp, reflecting her growth and evolution as an artist. Each song blends real stories, reflections, and imagination—capturing the world through her own unique voice.
